Alina Maksimenko was born in 1974 and lives and works in Kiev, Ukraine. She studied at the art school names after T G Shevchenko from 1985-1988 and graduated from the Kiev Art College named after M Boychuk in 1993. Alina Maksimenko has been a member of the BGART union of artists since 2001 and of The Art Union of painters of Ukraine sinve 2003.

Her works are in private collections in the Ukraine, Poland, Italy, UK, USA, Sweden, France, Croatia and in the museum of history of Kiev, Ukraine.
