Alina Maksimenko was born in Kiev, Ukraine in 1974 where she now lives and works. Since 1985-1988 she studied at the Shevchenko Art College and she graduated from Boychuk Art Academy in 1993. She became a member of the BG Art Union of Artists in 2001 and a member of The Union of Arts of the Ukraine in 2003.

The works of Alina Maksimenko are in the Museum of History of Kiev, Ukraine, Museum of Modern Art, Kiev, Ukraine, and in the collection of the Ministry of the Culture of the Ukraine; also in private collections in the Ukraine, Poland, Italy, the USA, Sweden, Ireland, the UK, Denmark, France and Germany.
